A custom map creation process takes us up to 2 weeks (not including shipping times) as each map is designed, cut, and hand-finished by our small team, and some of the steps are done in batches.

Please note, we do everything we can to speed up the creation process in our studio to have the piece on its way to you quickly, but unfortunately, with international shipping, there are sometimes delays that are not in our control.

FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US:

Additional VAT & import tax may apply on orders shipped to the EU, Canada, and other countries. 

Fees are determined by your local customs and regulations. Each customer is responsible for any customs charges that may be applied to international shipments. 

TALIA SARI has no control over these charges and is not responsible for any actions taken by customs or delivery services.

U.S orders are import tax-free.

Our estimated shipping times are calculated from the moment the creation process has been completed (+- 14 days).

  • USPS Standard Shipping (United States only) - 10 to 16 business days
  • FedEx & DHL - 3 to 6 business days (US, Canada & Europe)
  • FedEx & DHL - 4 to 7 business days (South America)
  • FedEx & DHL 6 to 9 business days (Australia & Asia)

Actual delivery time will depend on international customs and your local service. 

If your order has not arrived within the estimated shipping time, or you have additional questions regarding shipping, please contact our customer support team.

If you would like to change your address before your order is shipped, please contact us and we will update the address in your order accordingly.

We can change your shipping address for you until your item is packed for shipping. 

It is best to contact us immediately to avoid any delays.

Custom maps take up to 2 weeks to be made and prepared for shipping. 

After your map is submitted, the creation process is the following:

Design ⇨ Cutting ⇨ Hand forming ⇨ Plating ⇨ Quality Inspection & Packing

We send email updates throughout the creation process, along with a link to view your design as it comes together. 

You should receive the order confirmation email as soon as you place your order, and the next update should arrive within 2-3 days.

If you have not received an update from us, please check your spam/promotions folders.  You can also search for our email address studio@taliasari.com and it should show up in the results. Mark our domain as “Not Spam” in your email service.

If you do not see an email from us anywhere, there may have been a typo in the email you provided when placing your order. Please contact us with your information and we will gladly locate your order and fix the issue.

In case your order delivery date has passed and you still haven't received your package, we recommend that you try the following:

Check your shipping details on the order confirmation email and make sure they are correct.

Ask your local post office if they can provide any further information on the whereabouts of your package. Be sure to have your tracking number with you on hand.

Ask other members of your household or neighbors if they have accepted the package on your behalf, as this is a common occurrence.

Check (if applicable) with your doorman, by your garage, or perhaps a side door.

If your order is being shipped outside the U.S, the shipping time frames will be longer. Please look at our estimated shipping times.

If you are still unable to locate your order, please contact our customer support team and one of our representatives will contact you.

Although it is rare, sometimes your tracking number will say "Delivered" before your package has arrived.

If this happens to you within 36 hours of the expected delivery, please follow these steps:

  • Check your shipping notification email to ensure your package was shipped to the correct destination.
  • Look for a notice of attempted delivery.
  • Look around the delivery location for your package.

  • See if someone else in the house accepted the delivery on your behalf.

  • Some packages travel through multiple carriers; check your mailbox or other locations you may receive mail.

  • Wait 36 hours - in rare cases, packages may say delivered up to 36 hours prior to arrival.

If your order is 36 hours past the expected delivery date, please Contact Us.

Please check for any typos in the email address you entered in your order.

The email may have been sent to your spam/junk/promotional folder. 

Please search these folders for the email. 

You can also search for our email address studio@taliasari.com and it should show up in the results.

If you receive jewelry from us that is damaged, defective, or unsatisfactory in any way, let us know immediately. 

Our team will work with you to make it right. Please get in touch with our customer service team.

We offer a warranty for the plating of the jewelry for up to 1 year from the date of purchase.

If you have any other issue with an item you purchased, please contact us and we will suggest the best solution to fix it.

If this occurs, we will do our best to sort this out right away.

Please check your order details to ensure that the order was placed correctly with the customization that you chose.

We ask that you please contact our Customer Service team with your order number and a picture of the incorrect item.

All of our jewelry is handmade. 

We take quality very seriously and check every item closely before shipping, unfortunately, things can happen along the way sometimes.

Please take a few moments to send us a photo of the damage, as well as your order number and a short description, that way we can suggest the best and quickest solution asap.

While we do not have phone support, we will do our best to answer your written request as soon as possible, usually no longer than 2 business days.

Selecting "Designer's Choice" for your map means that you would like our designer to choose the best style for your map design. Our designer considers the composition, structure, and location of your map and chooses whether to display streets only or add bodies of water or parks to your design.

We always send design previews and updates throughout the design process, so you will get to see how your design is coming along and have a chance to comment or make additional requests before we complete the design.

We offer two marker options to highlight a meaningful spot on your custom map.

- The pearl marker is a white freshwater pearl and can be added to necklaces, earrings, and brooches.

- The enamel marker can either be a small circle in black or white, or a red heart. It can be added to all jewelry types.

To add a marker to your map, while placing your order, go to the marker section in the custom map builder and choose your marker style. 

Then, drag the red dot on the map view to the exact location.

You can also write us the exact address/location for the marker in the order notes, before you checkout.

The map wraps around the finger to create a ring, so one diagonal will be featured on the ring while the two other corners will be less visible. 

The default design features the top right to bottom left diagonal of the map.

To choose your preferred design, use the orientation button on the jewelry preview screen.

To change your ring orientation after placing your order, please email us with your order number and information contact our Customer Support Team.

Our ring size is a US 6.5 with an open back, by default.

If you have a different size, please write it in the order notes or write us ASAP.

At the checkout you may choose a small or large ring, this refers to the size of the centerpiece (the map itself).

Large ring: Centerpiece measures: 1.5in / 38mm

Small ring: Centerpiece measures: 1in / 28mm

Water bodies and parks can be filled-in solid or not be included at all. It depends on the composition and what best suits the design. Sometimes the delicate lines of the roads give a better representation of the place and adding solid areas outweighs the composition. 

To preview the different map styles on your design, use the paint bucket button on the jewelry view.



Our standard format of a custom map is a square. 

Any other frames, such as triangles, diagonals, or circles can not be made.

If you want to request a little extra something for your map, please get in contact with our Customer Service Team.

Please provide your order number and what you would like to add. We will reach out to our designers and check if it’s possible!

From our experience with small shapes and letters, they, unfortunately, don't turn out well when sized down to our jewelry proportions.

Sizing up might be disproportionate to the composition the map.

If you don't see the red dot on your map view, it's possibly out of the map frame you have selected. 

We recommend starting your map design by typing in the exact address you would like the marker to be on. That way, when you reach the step of adding a marker, it should appear on that address. 

If you type in a city to start with, then the marker is placed on a "random" spot that marks the city on the map. And that place might be out of your selected frame so you can't see the red dot on your map view.

The marker needs to touch the silver/gold areas which represent the jewelry; the black area represents what will be cut out of the jewelry.

Unfortunately, we don't make silver or gold base custom map jewelry. 

The creation technique we use is based on brass cutting, which allows us to create a very detailed and delicate map design. 

Our silver and 24k gold plating are of a high standard with resistance when following the care instructions of the jewelry. 

To take care of your piece and keep your gold and silver plated jewelry in good condition:

- Do not spray perfume or other sprays directly on the jewelry.

Instead, wait for it to be absorbed on the skin first and then put on your jewelry. 

- Make sure to keep your jewelry away from direct contact with substances such as chlorine, perfume, cleaning products, etc.

Some chemical reactions with the metal can cause the jewelry to tarnish and lose its luster. 

- Try not to apply hand sanitizer directly on the ring. (Or excessively wash your hands with the ring on)

- Keep jewelry in a dry area, with no excess moisture.

- Be gentle with your piece! It is handcrafted and delicate. ❤

If you would like to change your color selection from silver to gold or vice versa, please contact our team with your order number and request as soon as possible.

Once your order has been submitted, we immediately begin to process your items.

If the chain length you received is different to the one you ordered, we will gladly send you a new chain, which can be easily replaced with a delicate set of pliers.

If you ordered the wrong chain length and would prefer a different length, please contact our Customer Support Team.


If you have already placed your order, but you selected the wrong product or want to change something, please contact our customer service team.

We will be more than happy to modify your order details for no additional fee, as long as it has not yet been cut.

Once your order has been submitted, we immediately begin to process your items. Due to the nature of these orders and the work invested in creating these one-of-a-kind items, if you would like to change a custom design that is in the production stage, the restocking fee is 30% percent of the total amount of the item.

**Please keep in mind that any design modifications and special requests made after your order has been submitted may delay your delivery date.

If you for some reason have a change of heart and want to cancel your custom order, make sure to get in touch with us as soon as possible so that we can cancel the order before it has been designed and cut. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel an order that has already been cut or shipped. 

Due to the nature of these orders and the work invested in creating these one-of-a-kind items, if you would like to cancel an order once it has been shipped or return a custom design, the restocking fee is 70% percent of the total amount of the item.

If for whatever reason you would like to return your map, the restocking fee is 30% percent of the total amount of the item.

All prices listed on the website are in US Dollars.

Subscribers to our newsletter and other customers who follow us on social media often receive discount codes.

In order to redeem your discount, simply add the products you would like to purchase to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.

On the checkout page, you will see an option to enter your gift card or discount code.  

Only one discount code can be used at a time. 

Please note that discount codes are not valid when we are having a sale on our website.

If you are having issues redeeming your discount, you may have entered the wrong promotional code or your code may have expired. 

Please make sure you write the promotional code in the exact same way it was given to you, without any spaces.

Once a SALE is offered in our store, discount codes are not valid.

If your promotional code is not working for any other reason, please contact our customer service to resolve the issue.

At this time, only one promotional code may be used at a time.

We accept payments through PayPal, and accept credit card payments from Visa and Mastercard credit cards.

Through PayPal, it is usually possible to check out as a guest with your credit card, without having a PayPal account.

Please see below the PayPal Guest Checkout screen, from which you may charge your credit card rather than the PayPal account.


Since Talia Sari is based outside of the EU, customs apply and price tags will have to be visible. 

It is a juridical issue for us and therefore cannot be changed. 

Orders to the US are sent without any price information.
