This is the second time I’ve drawn notes form the two jars on my studio table. The idea is to challenge myself in the process of creating new designs and stepping out of my comfort zone.
Jar one contains all the ideas I’ve accumulated but never got around to actually producing. Jar two contains all the different techniques and materials I’ve always wanted to learn and experiment with. I’ve thought of the ideas, written the notes and put them in there myself, so the actual notes won’t really surprise me.
The combination however, is proving to be a very interesting and fun challenge. Would never have thought of combining the ‘Sprouts’ concept with precious stones…
